As we arrive at the very center -- the heart of the Torah, we find ourselves at yet another double portion. One thing I have learned from my half year of my podcast journey is that as rewarding as making a podcast is, this singular journey is a challenging one for me to produce a great podcast every week. Fortunately, I am a fan of many other podcasts and they are ones that I would love to share with all of you to help you explore a diverse variety of perspectives. Most recently, I have also joined a collective of podcast fans who discuss one weekly chosen podcast, almost in the style of a book club. It is rather neat! If you are interested, sign up on Facebook for the New York Times Podcast Club.
So, let me leave you with one brand new podcast that I would like to help find its audience. It is the second podcast from the URJ entitled: Stories We Tell. I hope you enjoy it. Find it here.
I am so much in delight that the podcast craze has caught on. I have been a lover of podcasts for over a decade and a half, and it is funny to me that there is a resurgence of them now. But, whether it be from the popularity of people binging on true crime podcasts like Serial or S-Town, or the ability to listen to a whole string of episodes at once, or really whatever reason -- I am just grateful that so many have finally discovered what I already loved. So, listen on!
And, until next time -- Be Tropeful.
